Our Minister

Richard Wynne was appointed Minister for Aboriginal Affairs in August 2007. He is a strong advocate for social justice particularly in relation to Indigenous Victorians and for protecting and promoting Victoria’s rich Aboriginal culture.
As Parliamentary Secretary for Justice and former chairman of the Aboriginal Justice Forum, Mr Wynne was instrumental in developing the Victorian Government’s landmark
Aboriginal Justice Agreement.
Mr Wynne is committed to working with Indigenous communities so that all Aboriginal Victorians can enjoy a better quality of life.
